Last summer, The WOMB started a community garden in East Akron that helped adults, children, and families from the community to grow their own food and move toward self-sufficiency. We had a great harvest, and we want to expand this year. Please join us as a gardener for the summer 2012 gardening season! To get involved with the garden, email Jamila at jokantah@kent.edu

Yoga
The WOMB will offer yoga classes beginning Saturday May 5, 2012! Classes will be held every Saturday from 11am-12noon and will be taught by local reggae diva and longtime yoga practitioner Tracey Nguma. Each session is only $5, so come down to the WOMB to experience the many benefits of this ancient practice. This class is appropriate for all levels, so it doesn’t matter if you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years.
